"Usually in the morning and at bedtime, my cat’s pupils enlarge enormously, even when there is a bright source of light. She cannot seem to see me either. At the same time, her hearing seems impaired. She calls for me and I have to speak/call loudly, wave my hand/fingers to get her attention to my location. During the day, her pupils seem normal and her hearing as well, although her condition sometimes appears and disappears quickly. I’ve checked her ears; they appear clean."

"I recently took my dog to the vet because her nose was running. The doctor gave her antibiotics and Lasic pills. This seemed to work for a few days then the runny nose came back again she was given antibiotics. Upon returning to the vet a 4th time they took xrays of her chest. They began to explain the her heart was enlarged and she was suffering from congestive heart failure. He has put her on a diet and increased her lasic pills to one and a half per day.
