Pavlov: More Than Just a Bell-ringer

By Susan Moger

Pavlov’s famous experiments in conditioned reflexes proved that when dogs associate a sound with the arrival of food, they will salivate in response to the sound alone. But there’s more to Pavlov’s dogs than their drooling on cue. Pavlov not only named them but gave them credit for helping with his experiments.
