My cat is due to have her kittens any day now. We recenlty noticed that she is infested with fleas. We want her to have her kittens inside the house because it is 100 degrees outside here. We have flea powder but don’t know if it would harm the kittens if we use it. We have to do something immediately before she has the kittens and the fleas infest them as well and before the fleas infest our house. What do we do?

According to the manufacture, Frontline Plus can be used on pregnant cats, but shouldn’t be used on kittens under eight weeks of age. i would get a dose on her right away if she hasn’t had the kittens yet. It says it is safe to use on lactating cats, also. If you have other cats or dogs, I would make sure you treat every one of them at the same time. If you have further questions, I would recommend you contact your veterinarian.

I hope this information is helpful.
