My Cat has congestion with coughing, sneezing and no appetite. What can I do to help her through this? I don’t have the money for the vets in the area. Is there anything from the local feed store or pet stores that I can get to help her? This appears to be a cold or flu. Please help.

I am afraid there is not a lot you can do without seeing a veterinarian for your kitty. The good news is most of these type of conditions are viral and so if you can keep the kitty eating and drinking she will eventually come through it. Keep her nose and eyes free of mucus. I would put her in a small room with a vaporizer and let her get a lot of steam to see if that will clear her nose. Make sure she eats and drinks even if you have to force feed her and force water down her. The worse thing is if she doesn’t eat she could go into liver failure. Good luck and let me know if I can be of any more help.
