Dr. Jeff R. Chalkley is a native Houstonian. He earned his B.S. and D.V.M from Texas A&M University. Dr. Chalkley spent a year at Kansas State University doing an Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.

Currently Dr. Chalkley is Past President of the Board of Directors for Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, a member of the Board of Directors for Texas Veterinary Medical Association, a member of the Companion Animal Committee for TVMA,  a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and the American Animal Hospital Association.  Dr. Chalkley was awarded the 2009 Recent Graduate of the Year Award, by the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.
