From Lakewood, CO.

Kate Spencer is the online writer and editor for the American Animal Hospital Association. Kate works as a veterinary journalist, hunting down tidbits of veterinary news and sharing them within the profession. Kate is quickly learning the role of a sleep-deprived puppy parent, spending her days running after a highly energetic border collie/lab mix. She is a new member of a K-9 Search and Rescue team in Boulder, Colo., and hopes to someday tame her wild pup so that he can be trained as a wilderness search and rescue dog.
